"Plant trees, which will serve in another time"

Prof. Stefano Mancuso, one of the world's leading authorities in the field of plant neurobiology, explains that to improve our lives we should be inspired by plants, sophisticated and evolved social organisms that offer the solution to many technological problems.

In the installation Alberi Bambini (Trees for Children), that special cooperative relationship that binds man to the plants that surround him in homes, parks, gardens and fields is represented and made easy for children to enjoy. Every gesture addressed to the sixteen plants arranged on two fine wooden tables, every caress, every touch from the children's hand, visualises the cause-effect relationship existing between two living beings, through the emission of sounds.

It does this through an electrical circuit designed for education.
